Dr. Herbert Cruz. MD

Completing his MD in 1985 and General Psychiatry in 1989, Dr. Herbert Cruz has enjoyed a rich and diverse practice in the fields of Medicine and Psychiatry throughout the southwestern USA. Also a notable and reputable speaker, with a fantastic sense of humour, he is sought out for for his keynote presentations including topic areas such as: Adolescents and Depression, Ethnopsychopharmacology and issues of Atypical Antipsychotics.

Dr. Cruz has taught and lectured extensively including appointments as Adjunct Clinical Instructor, U of C Irvine, Assistant Clinical Professor U of C San Fransico and part time faculty at California State University, Fresno. Dr. Cruz has researched extensively and published, one of his works concerns "Post Traumatic Stress Disorder". He is currently certified with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He is certified by the Board of Medical Examiners in the states of Nevada, Washington, Michigan and California. Drawing from his many years working with individuals, families and groups in therapy, Dr. Cruz with a natural wit, tact, skill and tenacity gets to the heart of situations in a practical and non nonsense way providing participants with high quality stimulation and learning.

Dr. Cruz has been a long time professional associate of Rogelio's and has been intimately familiar with the Asi Way Approach having been involved with the ongoing brainstorming discussions concerning the developments and growth of the Asi Way over the years. He began actively teaching the Training of Facilitators with Anita in May 2016. Dr. Cruz is happily married to his lovely wife Anna, they have a blended family of three sons, and two grandchildren. They make their home in Fresno, California, USA.
